Tanto says he recently discovered that persons have been pretending to be his management team and collecting money for a variety of work including, dubs, shows and advertisements.
Meantime Tanto also cleared up the rumors surrounding his recent trip to Canada, where it was said he was bottled during a performance.

After being plagued for years with court delays, dancehall deejay Elephant Man has been freed of charges of rape, buggery and grievous sexual assault.

When he appeared in the Home Circuit Court today, the crown offered no evidence against him. The court was told that the complainant in the case had died and was buried on January 17.

The jury was impaneled and directed by Justice Marcia Dunbar-Green to enter a formal verdict of not guilty.

Elephant Man, who was represented by attorneys Linda Wright and Jacqueline Asher, was charged with rape stemming from a January 2012 incident involving a 31-year-old woman at his Hillcrest Avenue home in St Andrew.

Dancehall entertainer, Popcaan was today fined for assaulting a police officer at the Norman Manley International airport in 2013.

Poppi whose given name is Andre Sutherland, was fined twenty-five thousand dollars or six months imprisonment, after pleading guilty to the charge .

The defense had earlier asked that the matter go to mediation and the police officer agreed.

However, afterwards PopCaan pleaded guilty and was fined for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Reports are that, on November 24, 2013, Popcaan was preparing to leave the island when he was stopped by the police who requested a search of his luggage. The entertainer refused to be searched and became boisterous, using expletives to the officers.
During the dispute the “unruly” deejay used a Hennessy bottle to hit one of the policemen in the face, causing a wound to his mouth.

Flippa Moggela’s common-law wife Marsha G. Bernard was sentenced Friday to 21 years in prison for her role in an international drug ring.
34 year old Marsha was convicted in December on charges of cocaine distribution, money laundering and conspiracy.
She was part of a group that used the U.S. Postal Service and other delivery services to bring large amounts of cocaine from California to South Jersey.
However, Flippa who was found guilty along Marsha was granted a retrial.
The dancehall deejay will be tried on May 23 on a charge of leading the drug-trafficking network.
Meanwhile, Flippa Moggela’s brothers Kemar and Roger Davis are awaiting sentencing after the two accepted plea bargains.

Mavado and his former manager Julian Jones-Griffith is currently is a war of words on social media.
Julian Jones-Griffith hit back accusing Mavado of taking US$25,000 from Drake to build a library in Cassava Piece that was never built. Jones-Griffith also added that he parted ways with Mavado because he is bad for business and put money over everyone and everything.
“You have hundreds of thousands of dollars for promoters you sh*tted on… Drake gave you $25,000 to build a library that never built,” he said.
