Ninjaman Family Has Something To Say | Ninjaman Foundation Will Continue

Relatives of Ninja Man say that they will be carrying on the charity work that the deejay had been conducting before he was convicted of murder on Monday.

When THE STAR visited their home on Mall Road in St Andrew, they pointed to a number of barrels which they say contained goodies that were imported to be donated under the Ninja Man Foundation.

“Mi bredda kind to people till him fool,” Donna Wilson, sister of Ninja Man, said.

She said that he would donate paint to persons for them to give their homes and other buildings a facelift, especially in the Yuletide season. She added that he often donated walkers and wheelchairs for persons who could not walk.

“We have fi continue weh him lef, enuh, cause him nuh dead. So him will say who fi get this and who fi get that,” she added.

The deejay’s brother, Gonzellio Ballentyne, said that Ninja Man had the ‘One Umbrella’ organisation until he started the Ninja Man Foundation through which he would assist individuals, schools, and other institutions across the country.

“Both organisations at the time were registered organisations, and he is also affiliated with the Ballentyne Community Development Foundation,” he said.

He said that despite Ninja Man’s conviction, planned events such as a party that is set for December 26, which will be used to raise money would still go ahead.

“We will be continuing because when the chips are down, that is the time when you start to rise. We will be always be supporting Ninja Man even if him go to prison for 100 years. We as a family will be here to support him in any way,” he said.

Some residents in the Mall Road community also said that the deejay was very kind, and they credited him for helping to help make the community peaceful.

“Ninja Man put peace between Tower Hill and Mall Road, mek Tower Hill and Mall Road people dem nah war,” one resident told THE STAR.

Another resident, who asked not to be named, added: “When Ninja Man come, round ya did hot. If him neva come round yah di whole a we dead, and dat man deh not even fire a shot. Him just talk and seh ‘keep the peace and the whole a unuh cool and mek wi live loving’.”

  1. He can not bring back the life that he participated in taking. All your saying that because he gave to the community he now has a right to play God and decide who is deserving to live or die.

Yea he is a great artists and generous to a fault but the taking of a life and it was not in defence but premeditated is wrong under the eyes of the law, man and the same God everyone is talking about.

  2. If he's guilty of the crime he should go jail just like anyone else who found guilty! Ppl who on road taking money to killed ppl most of them are kind too, I know and saw ppl who did and are doing those things kinder than them u can't find! If he did the crime straight jail because they took a life, what about the person who died and his family? It look like that person don't count.

  3. Free my artist Ninja Man ……. How can you put away a kind hearted man like him in jail for ever that's fuck up … mi feel some typed away that he is lack up yow ….I watch all his 2017 summer videos ….and he was talking about passive things …..he wanted Jamaica to slow down on the crime and live as one so we can bring back Jamaica…..

  4. Ninjaman was doing good to help stop crime & the judge didn't look at that,I want some ppl to see what's going on,open ur eyes Jamaican, the government & high society don't give a dam, they want the youths to kill off each other & other poorer class ppl,why didn't the judge look at what ninjaman doing now & not 20 year,I just want to youths in Jamaica stop killing each other & wake up from that dream they be living over 30 years now,I'm glad ninjaman family still going to keep his thing going, cause Jamaican government & high society want ghetto ppl to not do good,we need some new hero's to fight what going on in Jamaica now.

  5. The leaders have already used ninjahman to do much of their dirty work plus probation plus shadowing court cases and worry … they need to show mercy … he has been a slave for them… let him grow old now without all the headache of those dark people breathing down his neck… no one is certain what took place and what is false or fabricated evidence… and who is doing stuff for spite…. Ninjah reLly has a good soul and kept all their dirty secrets and suffered with them… leaders Lowe the man the wicked has a thirst that cannot be quenched…. if he did commit the crime then why? There is battles on earth and wars…. bless to all good souls… not lovely for anyone to be merked or incarcerated… people need to know exactly what was said at the crime scene , the whole story and if self defence was included and whether or not there was a set up… not just it was a dispute! What exactly took place!!!!!!what was said… who provoked who… who threatened who first and why!!!

  6. I'm sure he has been doing more good than most of the politicians in Jamaica. And I agree with the last statement in the video, and in addition to that, most Jamaicans based on my experience are very ungrateful. Some of the same people you help will turn around and hurt you.
